updating the State Regulated Dam field based upon values in that
field. The value is changed to "Y" if the current
value is non-zero, or "N" if the current value is blank or
zero. This was done for the Arkansas NID data submittal because
their local inventory database does not have a State Regulated Dam
field but they do have a Permit number which indirectly corresponds to
whether or not a Dam is State Regulated. This version also
removes the Table name specification from the import NID Electronic
Submittal interface. |
|
 | Version 2.0.19, Dated 13 June, 2002: Put the same logic
behind the "X" button on each form that is behind the
"Exit" button. This ensures that if a user presses the
"X" in the upper right hand corner of a form, that the
correct replacement form is displayed. Previously, pressing the
"X" could simply remove the form from the display and leave
the program running in memory, potentially resulting in several
instances of the DSPMT running at the same time. This version
also leaves the Palm database in place when configuring the
DSPMT for a network configuration. This means that the ODBC32
variable does not have to be reconfigured manually. |
|
 | Version 2.0.20, Dated 17 June, 2002: Modified the NID

Evaluations) questions regarding non-Fracture Critical Hydraulic Steel
Structures suggested by CESWL were incorporated into the main
performance measure spreadsheet. A clear criteria button was
added to the performance measure search criteria form.
Additional confirmation forms were added to the Live Update capability
if a new database structure is being downloaded. The user is now
given the option of sending the current database contents to the TEC
central server prior to downloading a new database structure. |
|
 | Version 2.108, Dated 7 March, 2004: The FERC Inspection
Report cover page has been modified to more closely match the D2SI
Inspection report standard format. Performance measure tabular
output can now be generated only for those dams which meet a specified
search criteria rather than for the entire database.
Modifications were made to correct auto-loading of the database
contents when a new database structure is downloaded via the Live
Update capability. Excel output sort order now matches the DSPMT
spreadsheet sort order for the performance measure spreadsheet,
staffing spreadsheet, and deficiency spreadsheet. Organization
name is forced to be all caps. Blank fields in the staffing
table (DSPPM 2) no longer cause program aborts, they are automatically
changed to zero values. The deficiencies spreadsheet has been
re-ordered and two new fields have been added, a MSC funding priority
and a HQ funding priority. The deficiencies spreadsheet can now
be sorted based upon any number of selected fields (i.e. Organization,
Funding Priority, Dam Name, Deficiency number, etc.) |
|
 | Version 2.109, Dated 10 March, 2004: This version corrects
problems in ordering the deficiencies spreadsheet by funding
priority. It also allows communication of funding priority from
districts to division to HQ, and from HQ to Division, and from
Division to Districts. |
|
 | Version 2.110, Date 14 March, 2004: This version is the final
version to be released in preparation for USACE districts to begin
populating the deficiencies spreadsheet for the FY06 budget.
This version adds a new field to the deficiencies spreadsheet and
allows a district to specify a budget request value and a total
estimated cost of remediation value. The DSPPM4 forms-based
interface has been significantly modified so that it is driven from
the deficiencies spreadsheet. There have been significant
modifications to the DSPPM2 performance measure tabular output to be
show staffing summaries which correspond to search query
criteria. The FERC inspection checklist excel export has been
modified to center justify the Section O and P headings.
Numerous small changes have been made in response to CESWD
observations and problem notifications. |

problem with the performance measures spreadsheet generating an error
message whenever a cell value is changed. |
|
 | Version 2.112-2.119: These versions correct a variety of
programming difficulties and suggested improvements by USACE districts
which were noted in the process of populating the staffing
spreadsheet, performance measures spreadsheet, and deficiencies
spreadsheet. |
|
 | Version 2.120: Date 14 April, 2004: This version corrects a
problem noted by CESWL where the deficiencies spreadsheet for a
particular selected dam, exported to an Excel spreadsheet, shows
multiple duplicate deficiencies when the internally displayed
spreadsheet only shows a single deficiency. |
|
 | Version 2.121 Date 24 April, 2004: This version corrects
problems noted by CENAP, CESWD, and CESPA. The biggest
modification is that it provides help descriptions for the staffing
spreadsheet fields by displaying descriptive text regarding each field
in the spreadsheet when the user clicks on a cell and then presses the
F1 key. |
|
 | Version 2.122, Date 2 May, 2004: This version corrects a
problem with the staffing spreadsheet having duplicate data records
after multiple imports of a user's organization. It also changes
the Organizational Download interface to allow a user's own
organization's data to be deleted upon being warned by a confirmation
form. This was a contributing factor to the duplicate records in
the staffing spreadsheet. |
|
 | Version 2.123, Date 3 May, 2004: This version prevents data
(either dam information or staffing information) imported from another
organization to be uploaded to the TEC central server when an
organization uploads it's data. |
|
 | Version 2.125, Date 9 May, 2004: This version corrects many
small errors and implements improvements in the headings and labels on
the performance measure interface forms. This version also
automatically calculates staffing totals from the staffing spreadsheet
for USACE districts and divisions only. This version also
implements a vertically-expanded column heading so that the column
headings can be more descriptive and also grouped more closely. |
|
 | Version 2.126, Date 18 May, 2004: This version corrects a
problem where the staffing spreadsheet was not being exported to Excel
correctly. The sort order would be correct in the on-screen
DSPMT spreadsheet but be incorrect in the Excel spreasdsheet. |
|
 | Version 2.127, 2.128, Date 19,20 May, 2004: These versions
both incorporate continued corrections involving not exporting a
sorted spreadsheet to Excel correctly. The problem only seems to
affect Windows 2000 Professional. It is corrected in Version
2.128. |
|
 | Version 2.129, Dated 25 May, 2004: This version
corrects a problem with the Spanish version of the DSPMT which
utilized a file in c:\Program Files\DSPMT rather than c:\Archivos de
Programa\DSPMT. |
|
 | Version 2.130, Dated 26 May, 2004: This version corrects
problems with uploading submittal data to the TEC central server and
also provides additional feedback when generating a submittal file. |
|
 | Version 2.131, Dated 27 May,2004: The DSPMT uses a file,
c:\dspmt.env, to store the location of the database in order to
provide a capability for network configurations. The c: root
directory is also used for uploading and downloading NID/DSPPM
submittals to/from the TEC central server. Due to information
mgt. restrictions, some organizations are not allowing program access
to the c: root directory. This version of the DSPMT allows a
user to designate an alternate directory (i.e. c:\Temp or
c:\DSPMTFiles, etc.) as the directory to use for these purposes. |
|
 | Version 2.132, Dated 1 June, 2004: This version corrects a
problem where the District budgeting priority is being stored in the
x.xxx format rather than in x.x format (i.e. 3.100 rather than 3.1). |
|
 | Version 2.134, Dated 7 June, 2004: This version provides an
improved sorting for identified dam safety deficiencies. When
sorted by District, Division, or HQ priority the deficiencies with
priority values are ranked at the top of the list and those without
values sort to the bottom. |
|
 | Version 2.135, Dated 8 June, 2004: This version corrects
problems with sorting order of the Excel spreadsheet generated from
the Deficiencies spreadsheet interface. |
|
 | Version 2.136, Dated 14 June, 2004: This version restricts
the capability to download electronic submittal data files.
States are only allowed to download their own State data. USACE
Districts can only download their own District and their
Division's data file. USACE Divisions can only download their
own Division and their reporting District's data files. |
|
 | Version 2.137, 2.138, Dated 18 June, 2004: This version implements
an auto-numbering capability for MSC Funding Priority on the
